Dang, I missed this by a couple weeks! I just found you through the Symbolic World and the realist/nominalist distinction answers SO MANY questions for me. Will you be doing this course again in the new year? I’d REALLY like to participate for credit.
Hey Nicole! We just revamped the Profer website, and in honor of that, I opened late registration for a short window. You’ve missed the first three sessions, but they were recorded. If you want to enroll and catch-up on those videos and then jump in, you can — for credit or audit. I’m not sure when I’ll be offering my next class. I hope to see you in class!
I just tried to register and I created an account and logged in. But when I press the 'enroll now' button it asks me to register again even though I'm already logged in, so of course when I fill all that info out again it tells me I already have an account (which I know because I'm currently logged in). Can you help me scale this obstacle? :)
I checked with them too. Here’s the reply: They login, click the student menu on the left, then course registration.
I’ve asked them to fix this, so the enroll button goes to course registration instead of student registration. But for now, that’s the answe. I hope that helps!
On the question in the podcast, my understanding is that Hocus Pocus derives from the words of institution in the Latin mass, specifically “this is my body.”

How exciting! I'm signing up now and I'll see you in class. Joining from Anchorage, Alaska! :)

Shoot. Let me circle up with the tech guys and see what's going on.
Thank you! I sent a message to the website support email too.
