I pray this woman was comforted.

My comment though, is more general: thank you so much for articulating the Fathers in such a comprehensible fashion. I was lucky enough to have a priest (in 2008) who assigned a book about the Fathers for catechism, but I admit it was tough going and overwhelming at the time, though that’s not the author’s fault. It’s just a lot to be hit with at once. The book is (Father) Clark Carlton’s book The Faith. Reading your posts and listening to your podcasts (there is so much to catch up on as a new subscriber!—a good problem:) I have been reminded of that catechism book and pulled it out again to reread it. But your gift truly is to incorporate “the why” so clearly, why all these things the Fathers expounded on matter to our understanding of reality, about God, and about ourselves. Thank you so much, truly, and may God grant you the strength and will to keep going!
