Greeetings subscribers! Before jumping into this month’s Q&A, I want to offer an update on The East-West Series. As those of you who follow my Substack or The Nathan Jacobs Podcast know, I’ve been in development on a comprehensive 26-lecture exploration of the theological differences between Eastern and Western Christianity.
The series is now out of pre-production and well into production. The series is being shot in three blocks. We shot block 1 last week on our soundstage in Texas, knocking out the first 10 episodes. I fly out tomorrow to film the second block, expecting to do another 10. The final block is scheduled for October 2-9. Here’s a few captures of the uncut footage.
Post-production is underway in tandem with filming. The first three episodes will drop at the end of October, with subsequent episodes dropping once per week until the full series is available. I have some exciting partnerships on the project to announce in the coming weeks, including places and ways to view the series.
We have been crowdfunding in support of the series, offering the series for purchase at the lowest price it will ever be available. This offer expires on OCTOBER 15. So if you plan to support or purchase the series, do so before October 15.
Visit theeastwestseries.com to see the various levels of support and benefits that come with each tier, including one-on-one meetings with me, access to the East-West Q&A, participation in the East-West class, and more.
To all who have already purchased or supported the series, THANK YOU! Before jumping into today’s Q&A, here’s the trailer for The East West Series.
